Another rad show with Tron, Innerds, and 2UP, and a first time hearing and seeing Batwings. Was also super cool because a good friend celebrated his wedding in style by bringing his wedding party to the show.

Commune Wednesday's at the Soda Bar, San Diego, March 26, 2014

This was an exceptional evening at The Soda Bar. Despite the Southern California spring rains that made it a wet and cool night, the place was packed and hot with plenty of dancing from the start.

I set up stage-left at the start of the evening with plans to move around and take breaks between sets. Turned out that that was impossible. I got stuck in my little corner of the club. Couldn't leave my place for any bathroom breaks and endured the need, till the last set was over.

Despite all this I captured a rad event. Too bad I didn't have a crowd-cam to capture all the dancing and fun that was going on behind me.

I created these two as an exercise in trying out ideas for a bigger project.
Two versions, one B&W and one Color.
Created the color one first and then decided to check it out in B&W.

DIE MISSBILDUNGEN with ZeuqsaV | The Bancroft Bar | Spring Valley, CA - 2/15/2014

This was my first attempt at live video mixing as "ZeuqsaV", and for music or anything for that matter, besides house parties. I used TouchViz for iPad on the main projector, and an analog video mixer (with a MiniDV Camera and a montage burned to DVD playing) and another projector directed towards the left side of the stage (stage right). Not all of the imagery reached the stage, some was on the ceiling, the floor and on the backs of the audience, but the effects were still rad (from what I'm told). My vantage point was obscured by the crowd.
